Whiteboard

Social Identifiers and social design trends are a big part of what I do, these are already finding their way into my blog and will have a place here in the coming future.

A pulse on design trends, usability/design/graphic quotes, amazing photography, and links to keep everyone busy, plus a few songs that are currently stuck on repeat.

This is getting to be a bit Apple focused and iPhone crazy. If you can't tell I love tech gadgets and the iPhone is my gadget of choice. I will be building an Apple gadget specific website soon so this area will be free'd up for more design related topics.

I like the idea. Haven’t really thought about the impact of that phone shape in my pocket or on a table.

Just bought this for a Dollar. BOM! This is tons of fun, much cooler and fun to use that Apple’s ToDo List. I might write a longer piece on the second generation of mobile experiences. I think that we have now moved away from the first phase and are now entering a different phase to really show off the power and gestures of mobile computing.

Slick Rick! Now this is something to talk about.

superpolypixel: If you’re going to put a GameBoy skin on your iPhone, you might as well go all the way!

Found on Etsy from killerduckdecals.

Sick work by Mikael Eidenberg. Makes me want to give up every minute of free time. HA! Freetime. What an idea. But seriously I have no idea where he finds the time.

Already have my White iPhone 4G. I have had it for the last two months. I meant to take a few shots, but never got around to it until tonight.

You won’t find me waiting in any line on Friday. Have fun kids.

It’s true, I just read a interesting article about the javascript benchmarks that came out between Android and the Apple iOS 4.3. Android won, because they tested it in a custom built app that wasn’t taking advantage of the new javascript engine.

Great Test. Ha. Just upgrade your iPhone’s OS and see for yourself. Super fast!!.

This looks like a great service if your into designing iPhone interfaces. I wonder if this would work with an iPad too?

I would love to stop at the Metro pick these up. I would probably buy one daily, just to have it. Well Done.

iPhone Cookies, Design Fetish

Found this website link on Gizmodo. A “Find My Phone” website that isn’t run by Apple or Google. Obviously many of us are intrigued by this new ability to track or find ourselves from a simple website. So much so, that the web traffic was too much for the guy and he had to shut the site down for now.

Hope he gets this back online soon. LINK: www.icantfindmyphone.com/

The new iPhone gets the hottest app in the App Store, NETFLIX. Hell yes!

I have been waiting for this ever since they released the NETFLIX app for the iPad. It’s a great experience on the iPad, but this has just become even more accessible. Get the new iPhone4 and then download the NETFLIX app. You won’t be disappointed.

I usually get really excited when the very talented people present different means of acheiving something that companies don’t want you to do. Even Apple.

But When the first thing you have to do is JAILBREAK your brand new iPhone. I am disappointed.  This isn’t ground breaking news. This is a crazy hack on a hack.

Good luck with this. Read the article if your interested.

… Next the site that jailbreaks your phone with a single swipe!

The world watched the live blogs and ran home to watch the videos Apple made available after announcing their new baby, the iPhone 4. We all had thought this thing would be called iPhone HD or something equally cliche, but it’s simple, just iPhone 4.

Like Apple fans and tech freaks a like, we sat at our cubies and bit our nails hoping for the announcements of Apple TV and a new iLife Suite. Predictions of Mac upgrades and looks at a new operating system were in the air as well. Apple did not surprise us on Monday, but it did hook us again. The video calling and awesome HD camera was the tipping point. Multi-tasking and more pixels are an added bonus, but for those whom own a 3G or non smart phone the camera and video were HUGE.

People will always say, other phones have better cameras so why don’t you go with them? Well, as simply as I can summarize; we love the iPhone. It’s easy to use, it’s a status symbol, I already have tons of apps for the one I have. There is something elegant and smart about this phone that just works. Overall it’s easier to jump into a iPhone and hit the ground running than it is on any other phone.

Sure AT&T gets it wrong sometimes, but Apple gets it right most of the time.

Opera Mini Browser App has now been approved for iPhone consumption.
This is a huge step forward for Apple to allow another browser (everyone openly agrees that it is a browser) inside of the App Store walls. Read more from the official Opera Press Release!
The Opera Mini App is available for free from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.

Just watched Apple’s the new iPhone 4 OS preview. This is going to be a good summer, just wish it would come out sooner than june/july.

Just a few things:

  • Multi-tasking
  • Folders
  • Better Mail App
  • iAd - ( looked great )
  • Zoom In-Video
  • Photos get Places
  • Custom Home Screen Wallpaper

It’s apps like this that make me want to jailbreak my iPhone. If Apple doesn’t come out with something equally as cool, I’ll be very disappointed. Site Link!
