Social Identifiers and social design trends are a big part of what I do, these are already finding their way into my blog and will have a place here in the coming future.

A pulse on design trends, usability/design/graphic quotes, amazing photography, and links to keep everyone busy, plus a few songs that are currently stuck on repeat.

This is getting to be a bit Apple focused and iPhone crazy. If you can't tell I love tech gadgets and the iPhone is my gadget of choice. I will be building an Apple gadget specific website soon so this area will be free'd up for more design related topics.

Recently did some work on a great looking website, BMC.com. They have a pretty sophisticated color, gradient, icon and photography style.

Their design team has done a great job creating the best tech look. 

I really like the cloud icons. They are collaged and layered it a point where they have become a hybrid icon/image that has so much visual value, it truly communicates more than a standard icon.

The colors & collage is perfect for a computer/technology company.

I just relaunched Milwaukee Figure Drawing on TUMBLR! This is a huge day. Please take a look. If you know anyone who likes to draw, or is in art school and has to draw nudes this would be a cool site for them to look at.  For those on tumblr already, I tweaked the shit out of this theme. I added a lot of new navigation, social links, and even added in a site-wide title that is totally controlled by the twitter account hooked up to my phone. Ha, YES! Google Web Fonts Directory is looking pretty nice. It seems like a few months ago Google looked like crap. It’s like when a committe turns a really cool website into crap. That is what was happening at google until recently. I’m am willing to bet that they aquired or hired a few people in their design department.  This design revolution is obvious on their search pages, gmail, analytics, ad words, google music, google plus, nexus prime page, google wallet and the font directory. Nice Job! Only a few years late, but no one else seems to notice.  LINK: https://www.google.com/webfonts

Crazy Ass Apple iPhone Website Updates Looks Like Crap.

This is the video I previously wrote about. What kind of crazy stuff is going on over at Apple. First the website roll out was sloppy, the tech team should be very hard on themselves. This think should have been spot on. Weird broken links, then the whole site was down. Now in Rockmelt the iPod and iPhone pages are totally messed up. 

BROWSER CHECK… Steve would have their heads for this shit. Apple Website Update Fail!

I’m in rockmelt form time to time, and I was trying to look at the Apple iPhone landing page, and it turns blue. Above is a simple screenshot, but I have a weird ass video screen capture that has the sweet animation working on an ugly ass blue background.  Steve would have never allowed a web update to be so crazy sloppy. Hell we helped launch a huge website today. And not one issue. One Twitter user caught a CNAME change, Done.
