Social Identifiers and social design trends are a big part of what I do, these are already finding their way into my blog and will have a place here in the coming future.

A pulse on design trends, usability/design/graphic quotes, amazing photography, and links to keep everyone busy, plus a few songs that are currently stuck on repeat.

This is getting to be a bit Apple focused and iPhone crazy. If you can't tell I love tech gadgets and the iPhone is my gadget of choice. I will be building an Apple gadget specific website soon so this area will be free'd up for more design related topics.

I just relaunched Milwaukee Figure Drawing on TUMBLR! This is a huge day. Please take a look. If you know anyone who likes to draw, or is in art school and has to draw nudes this would be a cool site for them to look at.  For those on tumblr already, I tweaked the shit out of this theme. I added a lot of new navigation, social links, and even added in a site-wide title that is totally controlled by the twitter account hooked up to my phone. Ha, YES! Just bought this for a Dollar. BOM! This is tons of fun, much cooler and fun to use that Apple’s ToDo List. I might write a longer piece on the second generation of mobile experiences. I think that we have now moved away from the first phase and are now entering a different phase to really show off the power and gestures of mobile computing.

Finally My Blog is Back Online.

People have been seeing my posts inside of the community dashboard, but when it actually came to seeing it on a webpage it was hard to see anything. Looks like recently Tumblr had changed the way it was using domain forwarding. 

Just a note, if your forwarding your tumblr blog to a subdomain you might want to check it and make sure that it is working. I noticed I would have outages all the time with the old way. So I updated all the necessary CNAME info and here we are blogging again.

This was very insightful. Think about all the people that work in social media, think about all the musicians that became famous. Free mix tapes and remixes. Blogs post songs and they become internet legends. Then they become get sponsored and have a huge self-generated fan base because of social media, where comments and sharing are its life blood.

Google Web Fonts Directory is looking pretty nice. It seems like a few months ago Google looked like crap. It’s like when a committe turns a really cool website into crap. That is what was happening at google until recently. I’m am willing to bet that they aquired or hired a few people in their design department.  This design revolution is obvious on their search pages, gmail, analytics, ad words, google music, google plus, nexus prime page, google wallet and the font directory. Nice Job! Only a few years late, but no one else seems to notice.  LINK: https://www.google.com/webfonts
